Current Operation Status during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic
During regular hours we request that anyone call first (613-822-0620) for instructions regarding non contact pickups and any custom case or foam requirements
We continue to operate during regular hours (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) Monday to Friday and will be shipping and receiving as usual. Orders may also be picked up without personal contact if prepaid. Anyone entering the premises for a pick up or delivery is required to wear a mask.
Employees are to wear a mask while interacting with customers along with frequent hand washing.
Staff is currently following best safety practices as recommended by Public Health authorities such as sanitizing, distancing, frequent hand washing and using disposable gloves. Employees experiencing symptoms of the Covid-19 Coronavirus will be asked to self isolate at home for the required period and seek testing. We will continue to keep abreast of current best practices.
We have increased Inventory on raw materials required for our most demanded products and will continue to stay in contact with suppliers during this constantly changing situation. We are asking our suppliers for information on their situation and what new policies they have in place as well. At this time we are not experiencing any unreasonable or unusual delays in the supply of materials but there have been numerous price increases.
For items that are not in stock: Standard Pelican and Storm Products continue to ship to us as but with 3-5 week or more delays on many Products as well as limited color choices. Pelican Hardigg custom Products are experiencing significant delays of 2-3 weeks beyond standard times of 6-7 weeks, Nanuk Products are experiencing major delays in shipping of up to 3 weeks and some items have significant delays up to 9 weeks or more. Best to plan ahead if possible regarding custom work or large volume orders.
With regards to custom orders we ask that you provide us with drawings via email or by shipping sample equipment to us for design purposes in order to avoid unnecessary contact. Arrangements can also be made to drop off equipment if required.
As Director I believe we can continue to operate safely and effectively with everyone practicing best suggested health practices and social distancing and continue to provide Industry, Government, Law enforcement, First Responders and others with the Products they need to do their jobs.
